Based in the UK and Hong Kong, Lightning International works with both finished programming and formats from both UK and international partners. We cover the following genres - Entertainment; Drama; Factual; Lifestyle & Travel; Cooking; Sports; Childrens; and Movies. Our catalogue of finished programmes includes 3000+ hours of content, and we are always interested in HD library programming, as well as new projects.
Currently we are working on developing production projects, such as Mike Read's Pop Quiz, The Outliers, Street Food Chef and Noah's Ark. Additionally we have deep experience in Asia-Pacific territories, and help our production partners to bridge the divide between the UK/Europe, and countries like Japan, China, Korea, and India. Our team previously worked for international broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV Studios, Bloomberg, Al-Jazeera, Star TV, and more.
We offer content solutions and consulting services - for companies wanting to expand across Asia, with insight, planning and licensing. We also distribute linear TV channels such as Liverpool's LFCTV; TRACE Sport Stars; TRACE Urban; Pulse TV; Pet Club TV; Action Hollywood Movies and the "Now That's What I Call Music" channels.
