Awen Media
Awen Media is a production company based in Caernarfon, North Wales, and established in 2013 by MD and Founder Gwion Owain to develop, produce, and co-produce, and finance innovative and compelling factual and factual entertainment programming for domestic and international broadcasters. In our first year of operation we secured three commissions from S4C and have pioneered a groundbreaking co-production relationship between Wales and broadcasters in South Korea.
The vision for Awen is to build a highly respected production house around the origination, development, and financing of innovative feature length factual one-offs and series and innovative factual entertainment and formats and theatrical firm. Gwion's experience of business affairs, programme financing, and raising alternative finance for production and business development are strengths that he is keen to use to build a portfolio of returnable productions to Awen.
