Angel Eye creates great stories that entertain, grab your attention and are very human.

The stories we've loved telling often weave through different genres. Dramatising the story of Hattie Jacques (Hattie), starring Ruth Jones, in a 90 min drama on BBC 4, led us on to the highly successful factual series about a curvy bridal boutique, initially on BBC One and later on TLC and Quest Red. We were thrilled when Caitlin Moran described Curvy Brides Boutique (now in its 80th episode) as "˜majestic' - what seems to be a show about wedding dresses also works as a story about empowerment and solidarity. Wasted, a sitcom for E4 told the story of Games of Thrones fan Morpheus seeking the support of his spirit guide Sean Bean, played by Sean Bean, in his struggle to find love and happiness in an isolated West Country village. The touching friendships rooted the comedy in real life. Our series following Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen in their first year of marriage Olivia & Alex Happily Ever After was a playful take on the battle of the sexes, made as a light-hearted observational documentary with two reality stars.

In April 2020 during lock down, we created a feel-good series for HGTV, featuring three DIY enthusiasts creating some lovely things for their own homes. The Weekend Workshop captured the ambition of upcycling, combined with the comedy of things going wrong. Our DIY enthusiasts were left with the warm pride of enjoying the pizza oven, outdoor cinema or water feature than they made for themselves.

We're currently in production for a new series for Discovery about a Hairloss Clinic, examining the emotional impact of hair loss and scalp conditions and following dramatic treatment journeys under the guidance of trichologist Eva Proudman and hair surgeon Dr Edward Ball.
