Alleycats Films was founded by Ed Stobart; drawing on his lineage of world beating adventure and documentary programming, we take a spirit of adventure into everything we do. Proudly rooted in Derry, with bases in Belfast and London, Alleycats has a national and global outlook, drawing on diverse voices from around Britain and the world to tell gripping, surprising and entertaining stories with energy and visual flair.
Passionate about our stories reaching broad audiences, we're proud of making unmissable content for all platforms – from broadcasters to brands and theatrical release. Alleycats is going from strength to strength; recent highlights include PBS/ ARTE: Tiananmen: The People v The Party, BBC1/ 4's How To Defuse A Bomb, BBC4 Raiders of The Lost Past with Janina Ramirez and C4's Helluva Tour, as well as a string of high performing documentaries and factual entertainment. We are consistently nominated for and winning awards.
