Adastra Development develops and produces broadcast and digital content for a variety of demographics, platforms and clients. The company is most known for the top rating and Bafta winning show "Grandpa in my Pocket" for CBeebies (which has sold to over 100 territories) and the BAFTA nominated Ha Ha Haires for Turner EMEA. We are currently producing the mixed content flagship show 'Mimi's World' for Channel 5 Milkshake having secured the largest grant from the UK Government's Young Audience Content Fund. We are working with Kickstart in the US on an original mixed content show 'Monkey in a Little Coat' and with Lime in the UK on the live action with VFX 'The Boy Who Grew Dragons'. We are working with Alt Animation in Northern Ireland in developing a classic 2D animation 'Betsy, Bert and Blooper and with Flipbook in Manchester on the CGI show 'Esmie Eggwig'. 

On the service side we have worked with numerous production companies, freelancers and publishers to develop children's properties for the market. We advise on bibles, development options and detailed editorial including pilot scripting. We can assist with all areas of development, pre-production and production. We are renowned for providing high quality voice directing for animation, mixed content and ADR, especially with child actors. We have worked with companies throughout the world including India and mainland Europe.

Our team are highly experienced in production and strong in creating content for the new digital and non linear markets; plus the necessary digital and social marketing. We run a successful commercial YouTube and Roku channel called 'Bogglesox TV' for which we have developed a number of original early learning properties - Shloppy, Bitziboos and the Boogiebug. We also distribute our own and 3rd party digital content through our wholly owned subsidiary Magic 2 Media.
